If I lost QR code, how do I reset my device?

It is possible for us to remove the current owner's email address. Please note that for security reasons, some information is necessary to start the process.

For the secure submission of requested documents, we provide you with a link to upload one file. Please collect the requested information into a PDF or ZIP file and upload it utilizing the link we will provide once document is ready:

The storage time is 30 days after upload. The uploaded data will be deleted automatically afterward. Please do not send us the requested documents as an attachment via e-mail.

1) We require proof of identity and kindly ask that you carry out one of the two options:

 Please send us a copy of your ID card/passport (in the PDF/ZIP file via the secure file upload).

2) We require proof of ownership and kindly ask that you use one of the two options to fulfill this:

2A) If you acquired the door station as part of a house purchase, please provide us with a copy of a notarized purchase agreement (in the PDF/ZIP file via the secure file upload) confirming the transfer of ownership from the original owner to you (from point 1). Before sending, please black out the data that is not relevant, such as purchase price.

OR

2B) Please send us a copy of the original invoice from the purchase (from DoorBird or the dealer) and a document confirming the transfer of ownership from the buyer to you (from point 1). If the previous owner did not issue an additional invoice besides the copy of the original invoice, a signed document from the previous owner confirming the sale to you is sufficient.

3) We ask for two photos to correctly identify the device.

Please send us a photo of the door station on the house (ideally with the house number and door station on one photo) and a photo of the silver sticker on the back of the door station to obtain both the model and serial number.

We ask for your understanding that we have to reject the request for safety reasons if the three points cannot be completely fulfilled.
